We are moving to England.?

I have been told by my parents that we are moving the the UK in a couple of months because of family. I was devastated, school is the first thing that worries me. I am 13 and from New Zealand, is there any ways I can make friends and fit it at school because I am completely terrified of moving.

Hey I'm from the uk and it's not so bad here. You will find that because you are from another country you might just be popular. When I was in high school we got a nee polish student in our class and she ended up with so many friends it was unreal. Smile a lot and hold your head up-confidence is a good way to go. Good luck and try not to worry.

We don't have many New Zealanders here, so people will probably be interested in you. New Zealand is a well liked and respected country, and culturally it's very similar to the UK, so just be yourself and I'm sure you'll make friends.

A lot of people are very interested in the new kid at school, so as long as you feel up to chatting to new people on your first day you wont have any problems

It's not called "England" anymore. It's called the "United Kingdom" since Scotland and England united over 300 years ago....
