Not feeling sore after workout?
I work out until I can't go any longer, ill go until im literally shaking and I have NEVER felt sore the day after. I do drink water and shower after but shouldn't I feel sore? I do have a high tolerance for pain but that shouldn't matter should it? Am I not working out hard enough?

You will become sore if you challenge your muscles properly. The means using progressive resistance. Do four sets of an exercise starting with a weight is heavy enough to limit you to 10 reps. Second set: Increase the weight so that you can do only 7 reps. Third set: Increase the weight again so that you can only do 5 reps. Fourth and last set: Increase the weight again so you can do only 3 or 4 reps. Exercising in this manner will make your may make your muscles sore the next day which means you challenged them enough so that they repair and grow. When a muscle becomes sore it means that you have stressed it enough to cause microscopic tears in the muscle fibers. This causes inflammation during the healing and growing process. This is a normal process in muscle growth. Make sure you supply your body with enough water and protein. A protein shake after such a workout will give your body the nutrition it needs to grow muscle.

either you drink a lot of water because drinking lots of water reduces sore muscles or you dont try hard enough on your workouts
