More likely you're friend owns a false widow, which is completely harmless, and he mistakenly called it a black widow. The black widow does have a medically significant bite, But it is extremely rare to get a bite. I wouldn't say you need to call 911,unless you experience the symptoms dan described(Trouble breathing, swelling near mouth, etc. etc.). The black widow's bite is very potent, but almost never fatal. Smashing the spider really doesn't help anything, and it makes it very hard to identify it, which is why i question you may have misidentified it. Do not take this lightly, if you notice any trouble breathing, get the the emergancy room immediatly.

First, I have to question this was a black widow. If your friend has one you'd better tell her they are considered dangerous, and can have a bad bite.
You may not need 911, but if you get any swelling about the face or mouth, blurred vision, difficulty breathing, then yes, you need emergency care.
Black widow bites should not be taken lightly and you should at least have your parents take you to a clinic. you will need the offending spider for identification. (dead or alive)
If there is no swelling, pain, or systemic reactions, you may not need treatment at all.

Wiki article on Black Widows says many bites were attributed to the days before indoor plumbing and toilets. If that's the case, good luck on finding someone to suck the poison out.
You'll find out who your friends are shortly. No doubt it's a trolling post, OP is a liar.
For anyone that seriously needs information on something like a Black Widow envenomination, consult with a professional, not yahoo answers.

this may be an unsightly adventure on your gf. in the journey that your gf develops systemic reactions like fever, sweating, respiration stress, cramps, disrythmia, she might desire to get scientific interest. normally the worst is over after 24 hours, however the chunk website will strengthen a sore it rather is the two painful and takes an prolonged time to heal. reckoning on her tolerance or a threat hypersensitive reaction to the venom will dictate the will for scientific interest. Over ninety% of bw bites heal properly on their very own. Ice will help the swelling, and a topical analgesic with menthol (like mentholatum,or sunburn spray) will help the discomfort. If her symptoms worsen, she might desire to seek for scientific interest. aside from a threat scaring on the chunk website, there at the instant are not the different 'long term' outcomes. I even have been bitten two times, and sorry to pay attention of her adventure.

It isn't that dangerous. If true, you would likely experience some muscle spasms and a great deal of pain. My father was bit and thought he was having a heart attack. If those symptoms manifest, I would drive to urgent care or the emergency room to see if there is anything they can do to ease the discomfort.
