What is the most time passed between you answering a question on Y!A and getting a BA?

I just got voted a BA on a question I answered 2 years ago. How crazy is that? Do these questions ever fall away after a certain period of time?

Questions that are tied stay in voting until someone breaks the tie. Which can be years, as you've seen. But that is why I belong to Yahoo TieBusters, a group dedicated to voting those old questions and resolving them. The link to the group is on my profile page; just click my avatar.

I think I've got some that are still in voting that are 5 years old. I'd look for reference, but it takes half a day to go through everything. Still by far the funniest was one in which the asker told me precisely where to shove it, let it go into voting, and I got an email telling me I had best answer; it had been about the same amount of time, and I couldn't even remember answering the question.

I can't recall the oldest I have had.

There are a group of users who troll the bottom of the categories voting which often will resolve a question and a BA is produced.

They are called the Tie Breakers if you haven't heard about them

6 years. It isn't crazy at all...but, do you do your part and vote on undecided questions? Because that is the only way they get decided...
