my dog bit my husband and injured him? what should i do?
Ok , so my husband mike was in the kitchen when he was eating baked cookies. So our dog max comes and starts begging my husband for a cookie, but mike pretends not to notice him and just goes on. So as im bout to give a cookie, max growls and bites my hubby on his thingy. So my hubby screams and i get a dishtowel and max runs off. I am really worried, the tissue in his thingy was torn, so is it possible our sex life is gone? im worried bout the dog, mike hates him and wants to give him away and i cant do anything but agree. help me what should i do? put him on kijiji but i doubt anyone would want a grown dog

whoa, dont give up your dog just because your husband said so. he married you didnt he, that means he takes the good with the bad, even if the bad was a dog that bit his junk. and your dog is an animal it doesnt know it did something wrong. they are like small children. you cant get mad when your child draws on the wall its just a child it doesnt know thats bad behavior. same as a dog doesnt know. as for the sex, i dont think just because he bit it that means it wont work. itll hurt for awhile yes, but i highly doubt that it wont work ever again. dont give up your dog especially as an adult. almost no one ever wants an adult dog and they end up being put down. dont take him away from a u if u love him. it would break his heart.

The dog growls and bites your hubby as you are both teasing it..of course if your hubby screams in pain the dog runs off as you have frightened him. I suspect there was also some yelling at the dog ?
Couldn't he have just given the dog the damn biscuit ? I am sure 1 biscuit less would not have hurt hubby or is he a guts.
My sympathy goes to the poor dog..he is only doing what dogs do. If you hubby hates the dog, the dogs picks up on this.
Why does everyone think giving a dog away is a quick fix to the problem...some people just should not have the "privilege" of owning a beautiful creature...yes, privilege.
If anything, all the dog needs is obedience training and your hubby to treat him more kindly.
