Can you change the fan limit timer setting on a Goodman Furnace?

The furnace does not have a limit switch where you can change the high and low temp when the fan turns off. The manual says the fan turns off 150 seconds after the burners go off, this time is to long. It blows cold air for about 30 seconds before the fan turns off, and makes the room uncomfortable.

Yes, the fan "off delay" is set by dip switches on the circuit board. It is usually set at 90,120, 135, or 150 seconds. I have never found a use for the 150 time, 120 is usually the best choice. You might have to find the board part number for more information, or the furnace Installation (not Owner's) Manual. Turning it off at the main switch is not recommended since it will be running at full heat and suddenly lose airflow, possibly overheating the heat exchanger or tripping a high limit safety.

You can just have the module changed for a shorter one, or turn it off at the main switch early
