Law about underage drinking and designated drivers?
Hypothetical situation. I'm at a party with a group of underage friends. They have been drinking, but I haven't drank anything at all. If I drive them home and get pulled over on the way, could I get in trouble for not stopping them? I know they would for underage drinking, but would I, even though I'm trying to be responsible and get them home safely? Just curious. Thanks for the answers.

that's the form of question that has no sure answer some law enforcement officials are lenient and as quickly as you instructed them you have been there to be the detailed driving force you will get a bypass, yet on the different hand in case you run around the form of officer it extremely is in basic terms a right this moment via the e book stickler then you definately might additionally be in various hardship. so my opinion is so you might make the suited determination given the situation.

Not unless there was evidence that you supplied them with the alcohol.
Officers aren't ever going to bust a designated driver for the actions of his passengers.

You would not get into trouble unless you had something to do with them obtaining alcohol. You are not responsible for them drinking and would not be expected to stop them, if they wanted to do it anyway.
