OpenOffice Spellcheck Not Working, How do I fix?
I have OpenOffice 3.4.1, and I've been useing OpenOffice for a couple years now. But for some reason, when I open or start new documents, my spellchecker is saying that everything is wrong, despite the fact that I know a lot of the words are correct. I've tried setting the lanuage back to default and then to English (USA), but it's still saying everything is wrong.
Does anyone know how I can fox this?

Try using LibreOffice 4 - it is the newest fork in the OOo software.
And get the portable version from portableapps.com
It runs on anything even a usb drive and is not installed through Windows - it's completely self contained.
