Infrasound. Anyone with personal experience using it for healing?

Was reading some material and discovered things like Mobile Medic for Sports Injuries and the like. Theory is that infrasound can be healing. Intriguing thought without much documentation that I can locate, but wondering if anyone has such devices or been treated with them and what you experienced. I read the reviews on Amazon.com. I know all the "it's anecdotal quackery" line. Not asking for that, looking for anyone who has used such a device and their experience of it. NOT interested in ghosts or such. Yes many animals communicate with infrasound. Irrelevant. Healing issue is all I'm interested in. Thank you.

As you don't have anyone responding with personal experience, I'll note that vets are also using infrasound treatment and there is some information on that. Seems less likely any placebo effect could be argued for that. Examples of such info:

    http://www.geninv.net/2009/10/sound-waves-healing-...

    http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-76445405.html

You already researched about human reports.

Clearly there are some chiropractors and other practitioners who use the therapy. Might make sense to get a treatment or two and see from personal experience if you have something that needs healing.

Too bad no one who has actual experience will respond. Frustrating when good questions don't result in very good answers.

Yes you are asking for anecdotal quackery - anecdotes are exactly what you have asked for.

What you need to be asking for are peer reviewed studies. Since you haven't mentioned what infrasound is supposed to heal, I'll leave it up to you to search the PubMed database: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/
