Opinions on the lenovo Z series?

I am looking for a new laptop, I figured if I was going to move out of Windows 7 to Windows 8, I might as well go for a touchscreen. I am looking for that 14 or 15 inch touch screen. i am 6'5" with large hands even if I end up with a Windows 7 non-touch screen it is still going to be 14-15 inches.

I saw Lenovo has a Z series that fits what I am looking for and my $600-800 budget. I was wondering if anyone had any firsthand experience with the Z400 with the 1600 X 900 screen or the Z500 series, and if so what they have to say about them.
