Is it just me or is Beyonce not that great of a female role model, telling other Women to bow down to her?

In her song "Bow Down/I Been On" (I heard it on E! last month.) She sings to her female contemporaries (as well as insulting them, by calling them B****es.)  And tells them  how they should bow down to her superiority. Now I personally just find that, incredibly pathetic to be honest. Good job at telling your young female fans how to act Beyonce. NOT!


When you start believing you're some sort of God/Goddess for real.
Then well you've lost it completely to be honest.

I don't want to make myself throw up even more. 
So dare to look it up on YouTube for yourself!

Beyonce is a pop star.  She is not the fount of all wisdom and knowledge.  She sings for a living.  Surely no one would take her seriously?

I'm not a fan but quite frankly, I'd censor half the stuff that we feed our kids these days.  Including male singers who make derogatory remarks about women.

The youtube video has heaps of thumbs down with people saying the same thing. She could have fed several African villages with all the money spend on those extravagant costumes and jewellery.

I think it's just a song. I really doubt she really means what she says. Many artists say ridiculous things in the their music but don't actually mean it or have attempted it. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
