Sprouting seeds. Interested in best prices products?

Want to start sprouting primarily veggies (like broccoli) but open to grains and such as well. Interested in what's particularly good besides broccoli and places to get seeds to sprout for a low cost. Any tips from folks who already have experience would be appreciated as well.

It seems that broccoli sees that are intended for sprouting--you don't want ones to plant as they may have been soaked in chemicals you do NOT want to eat--run about $1 or so per ounce. Amazon.com seems to have the most competitive prices and best selection.

You can check ebay and Craigslist as well, but those are much more hit and miss.

A few health food stores will carry mung beans for sprouting. If you like Asian food, that's a good choice and a lower cost than broccoli. Mung beans are "bean sprouts." I think you can usually get a pound for more like $8 or less, so significantly less than broccoli.

Those are the two items that I've sprouted and eaten over the years.
