There is no Rapture. That is a teaching of misconception. A teaching NOT based on the Bible. The Bible clearly says at Proverbs 2:21,22: For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it.  As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it.

So if the upright and blameless are "left over in the earth" That shows that they have to actually be on the earth during God's war, to be able to be "left over in it" That harmonizes with the explanation of those who survive that same war mentioned in the book of Revelation, notice the words "they have come out of the great tribulation"

(Revelation 7:14) . . .These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

You have to be in something, to come out of something.

Remember what proverbs said about the wicked..."they will be cut off from the earth".....and that "they will be torn away from the earth". Sounds like they are going some where else not the righteous.

Psalms has some interesting prophecies about the future of the righteous and the wicked:

(Psalm 37:9-11) . . .For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.  And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. . .

(Psalm 37:29) 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

(Psalm 37:34) 34 Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it].

So where did people get the idea of a rapture for all christians? The idea came from something that Paul said to other "elect or anointed" Christians this is a special calling to a position of office within Gods actual Kingdom that will dominate the earth and take over ruling it from heaven without any human government being left in power.(READ Daniel 2:44) This office has a certain number of seats to be filled by those chosen, or anointed or elect individuals. The Bible gives the number of those positions as 144,000 people, whereas the great crowd that comes out of the great tribulation is so vast in number, that the Bible describes it as a number that no man was able to count. ((Revelation 7:9) . . .a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, . . .)

So Paul, at the following scripture was one of the first of those chosen to be elect or anointed or as the Bible also puts it, "in union" with christ since he was an apostle (Ephesians 2:19-21 . . .YOU have been built up upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, while Christ Jesus himself is the foundation cornerstone.  In union with him . . .(paraphrased)

    ( Paul was considered an apostle and the corner stone of the kingdom was Jesus, and his 144,000 who were chosen among humans to serve in his government, all make up his heavenly government) Now keep in mind that the the apostle Paul was one of those anointed as you read the following scripture that gets people confused into thinking that all christians will be raptured;

(1 Thessalonians 4:17) . . .we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with [the] Lord. . .

But this is speaking only of those also in that 144,00 class, and he is speaking of a time that has not taken place yet, notice he says; who have "survived the great tribulation, or armageddon, and they at that time, after the war is over, will then be taken from earth to serve in his kingdom. This may seem complicated, but really its not. In any government there are only a certain number of actual seats for officials to fill that serve in it, and those are usually elected by someone. In this case, God wipes out all human rulership on this earth, including this very government that we live under, and God's government rules the earth, using the 144,00 humans taken starting from Paul's day down through time till our day, to rule over the survivors on earth.

(Revelation 14:3) . . .the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth. . .

(Revelation 5:9, 10) . . .you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,  and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

Some will die but some will live. Everyone will end up in the Millennial Kingdom. The Harpazo or "rapture" as you call it is a mystery. Much is known about it however, there is a lot that will not be revealed until we are with the Lord.

What happens to Children born now?

The proverbial "Rapture" is not a single event in time and space but an ongoing event. First the dead in Christ shall rise, then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them - upon our own deaths.. What changed is instead of remaining in the grave (soul sleep is what some call it) as did everybody who died prior to Christ, one upon death is immediately resurrected. This started in the first century, and continues to this day.

The question that really needs to be answered is what happens to all the Christians down in our Democrat wing? If you place a compass between the Republican wing and our Democrat wing, the needle will tell you, only our Republican wing faces east and looks up to the invisible Kingdom of Christ up in Heaven. Everyone down in our Democrat wing lives naturally with their backs turned to the Kingdom of Christ because this lower realm is known as the realm of the flesh is on earth that was cursed in Genesis because the Lord knew Lucifer's eternal Kingdom rules down on the earth and in this nation, the Kingdom of Darkness is in the west on American soil and is down in front of our Democrat wing. For the children of God to be looking forward to the Rapture, the Second Coming, and the seven horsemen come down from Heaven we must be up in our Republican wing. Down in our Democrat wing all Believers will be on the wrong side of Armageddon we are open and exposed to receive the mark of the beast because the earthly realm is ruled by Lucifer's eternal Kingdom.

There is no rapture, read matthew 24:21,22

It says it is cut short because of the chosen ones, if the chosen ones were raptured out what difference would it make how long it took. So no one is leaving.

I don't know, I guess they didn't think about that part. I don't think the Rapture is a real, literal event. It's more of a symbolic religious idea as far as I'm concerned. I'm religious but I'm skeptical about anything that sounds like magical thinking, etc.

The rapture is fictional, therefore children carry on with their lives as usual.
