    y= -4/3x-3

    (8,-2)

    .......................

    Since the given slope is -4/3, the slope you want is 3/4

    Equation form is y=mx+b

    Substitute to solve for b

    -2 = 3/4(8)+b

    -2 = 6+b

    -8=b

    Y= 3/4(8)+(-8)

    ................................

    parallel?

    slope is still -4/3
