My cat has bumps on her neck (and one on her back)?

About a four days ago I noticed two little bumps on my (older) cat, and one on her back. My cat gets bumps from time to time, so I didn't really worry about it, and figured it would go away in a few days. The two bumps on her neck are near each other and have gotten bigger (they're not very big yet, but they're definitely bigger than the tiny bumps they were a few days ago.)

Does this seem like something that could be serious? My parents are out of town and I have to go to work in the morning. I'm going to keep checking to see if it gets bigger or anything like that.. Is this something I need to take her to the vet for? Also, she's showing no other symptoms--just acting like her self, but these have me worried.

Thanks so much!

PS: Before finishing writing this, I was petting her and noticed one more on her head (really, really small one.)

A vet is your best bet! Lumps and bumps on older cats are common, but if they are growing at a rapid pace then a vet visit should be in your future.

If the bumps are under then skin and movable, they are most likely just fatty tumors (generally harmless).

If the bumps look and feel like moles, they most likely are just that, moles.

If the bumps are hard under the skin, you should probably get her to a vet as soon as your schedule allows it.

Keep checking up on her eating and drinking habits, as well as her energy levels.

Finally, do you have a ruler or a tape measure somewhere? It may be helpful for both you and the vet if you record the size of the bumps each day until your vet appointment.

I think that the best thing that you can do is take her to the vet! ASAP! then the vet can help you from there. If it is something out of the ordinary then definatly the vet.

Hope your cat will be alright!
