When I try to delete a file, sometimes it will open. How do I delete it without opening it?

I am trying to delete it by selecting it in Windows Explorer, then deleting it.

Update:

Yeah, I am using Windows Explorer to find the file, I select it, I press "Delete" and it opens. Then it tells me I can't delete it because it is open.

    Sounds like your left button is over-sensitive. But rather than adjusting that, try clicking with right button and deleting from the context menu.

    Process is locking the file. Try to delete it in safe mode instead.

    you have to find where the file is located on your pc like it's exact destination and try deleting it then.
