My best friend has taken it the wrong way and now hates me, please help!!?

So basically I have got myself into a really messed up situation with my best friend.. Yesterday I went to town with my two best friends and I generally felt third wheeled the whole day.. We went back to my second best friends house after town and that's when everything went downhill. My best friend seemed to be having more laughs and fun with the other so I left them to it and went and sat somewhere else..

My second best friend seemed to notice and she asked me what's wrong and I told her s felt third wheeled and she said that they didn't mean to and we'll make sure you're not it future.. My other best friend (the one who hates me) wasn't in the room.. She was also the one who gave me a lift home and things where quite silent in the car.. When I got inside I got a text from her saying who was wrong and I told her.. She took it completely the wrong way and started turning it around on me saying that I was trying to make her feel guilty when I just wanted to be friends again.. Since I moved to UK from New Zealand 6 months ago I miss people from there and I told her I miss them and stuff and she kept saying, "I'm sick of hearing of your stupid New Zealand friends, I don't want to be compared to someone else.. Go hang out with them if you miss them so much"!!! She was always the one who told me to be open to people and here she is throwing her advice back not my face!! She is generally like this and gets annoyed easily so you have to be a careful with her.. We've been in several situations like this bt we always had school the nest day to sort it out.. Since its half term I can't really do tha and we're meant to be meeting up on Wednesday to get ready for spending Halloween together.. As far as. Know m still going but things will be awkward and as far as I know my friend hates me.. I didn't mean to make her feel that way and to be honest she was comparing me to other friends as we fought over text!! She hates me and I'm a wreck because of it.. Please I need some help, I need to know what to do and if anyone has been through the same thing?! She's a ticking time bomb and now she prefers the the best friend to me.. Please help..? If you read all that thank you so much.. Xx

You can try to give her a day or so to calm down and text her telling her that what you said came out wrong and try to explain yourself. If she doesn't seem interested in hearing you out than she isn't worth crying over and shouldn't be missed as well. No friend will stay mad over something like this for long and to be honest she switched the guilt trip on you. Some times a group of friends getting together and not counting someone in is very upsetting and also wrong. At least you are able to express how you feel and don't change that cause you should always be honest and upfront with people, especially with your friends. But she should also take in consideration that you do miss your other friends but doesn't mean when you talk about them that you would rather be hanging out with them instead of her. We all have our days when we miss people in our lives and cannot hang out with cause they're not close enough to us to do so. Some people just do not notice how rude they are or can be even or friends as well. Like I said though give her time to cool off and try to write her if you don't hear anything back than at least you can say you tried to fix it! She sounds like she is bipolar as well lol

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear about that. It is never easy when people who you look to as friends treat you like that. I felt that way growing up -like I was always the one on the outside, or being put down. And especially since you've moved from New Zealand, a lot has changed for you, and there is the culture-shift. You're going to want to look for friends who are going to support you and cheer you on for who you are. There may be a short period of time where you don't have a lot of 'close' friends, but if you treat other people decently, and don't get into a lot of the gossip that girls can get carried away with, then people will start to see that you are for real, and a trustworthy person. Then, they will come to you! :)

    Keep your chin up! ;)
