    Hi Ashley,

No just the opposite, you really should wear sunglasses after you get your eyes dilated. Depending on how bright the light is at your home you may even want to keep them on inside which in this case is okay to do.

Hope the eye exam went well?

When they are dilated they are very sensitive to light.

Did you not find your eyes were very difficult to keep open outside ? That is the main reason to have sunglasses...so you can open your eyes enough to get back home.

Of course, when they are dilated , a lot more direct UV rays will enter the eyes, IF you can keep them open.

If you were lucky , it was a very cloudy day...
