Can women join the British Royal Marines?

Question

I am considering joining the military and I want to start training myself early on. No, I do not want to be in the kitchen I want to be trained on the combat side of it and in the end working up to being an officer. I was just wondering is this possible for a woman to achieve and what would I have to do?

Okay.. Since I've got a heap of answers saying no. Anything the same in the Army I could train for?

No not in the UK. If you look at their website you will see it there.

No.  The Royal Marines don't accept females. You could look at careers in the Navy but the Marines aren't an option.

try for the marine band i think they have females  in the ranks they are trained medics or the sis take females don't believe women have not been at the front line in Afghanistan there is no front line or when the troubles over in Ireland there was no front line warfare now has no lines

I believe so based on my study, but you should ask the organization yourself.
Because there's lots of requirements on different type of people, inquiring them is the best option.
