Magic Lantern for Canon T4i?
Has anyone had any luck with Magic Lantern on a Canon 2.3 T4I (650)?
Dose it work or will it turn my camera into a brick?
The web site is not clear one part says it will yet another say its still to come....

Some people use it without problems and think it is wonderful.
Others try to use it, it messes up the camera's firmware and the camera becomes a brick until you send it to Canon for an expensive repair.
It is up to you - are the perceived benefits worth the risks? For me? No!

You are no doubt aware of the disclaimer on the ML web site that warns your camera may not work at all with this firmware installed. Do you really want to risk that?

The version for the ^650D/T4i is in alpha... after alpha comes beta, then trial then general release.
Remember, you get what you pay for.

The answer my friend is not blowin' in the wind* - its in the Owner's Manual for your camera. Look in the section for shooting video and you should find the answer. * I was channeling Bob Dylan.
