Error while connection my Note 1 to my PC?

When I try to connect my Note one to my PC via a USB cable I get this error message ::

Media Foundation Protected Pipeline EXE has stopped working ..

I browsed through Google and other tech websites they all point to Windows Media Player Settings, Which I dont beleive is the case (Although I tried them and that did not help me). Under my device MNT directory I have 6 USB folders created with nothing in them I tried deleting them however I cant .

Any help to get this issue fixed please.I was able to connect my device earlier and the last I remembered I installed DU Speed Booster and sicne then I am having a problem. Tried uninstalling the app however it did not help.
