No. Clinton had the first Budget Surplus in a LONG time, Bush Jr. destroyed the economy, and Obama rescued the economy, and has the greatest job Growth in years.

Deregulation and Tax Cuts for the rich are bad for the economy. Regulation and smart government programs are good for the economy and good for the public welfare.

The last times Liberalism was pushed to it's limits? Berlin and most of Europe was wrecked. Then the USSR collapsed in on itself. Leaving more wreckage. Today Detroit is in collapse. Along with many other US cities becoming just as bankrupt.

Its proven to be a failure time and time again. The problem we face is that it makes a certain few people prosper. In all left wing governments the government is well off and the people suffer.
