Yahoo Answers is shutting down on 4 May 2021 (Eastern Time) and the Yahoo Answers website is now in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Is there a way to set your Yahoo Answers to country-specific questions only anymore?

I'm using Yahoo Answers UK and I'd prefer to see UK only questions on some certain sections such as Politics and Current Events. Is this possible anymore since they've removed the UK/Ireland Questions only filter, or is there any updates coming to fix this issue?

No we have all tried it. More and more people are leaving Yahoo because of the format of the site and the glitches that are happening. They think they can convince advertisers that thousands of people are using the site when they are not. They keep putting questions into categories that you don't want and you can't get them into the category that you do want. The whole thing has become a mess.

  • That option was removed recently. As a result there is no option to view country specific questions any longer.

All you can is to either vote for one of the existing suggestions about bringing it back, or create a new one so that staff can see it's a feature which is missed ---> https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/211240

Unfortunately there is no longer any way to do that. All English language sites are now showing exactly the same questions. I think that the supply of questions has dropped of, and that is the way they are trying to give the impression that the site is still well used.

They are trying to make it look bigger than it is, as others have said . I only really go on here because there are a couple of decent guys still contributing on here, but the rest is just crap.

    I mostly reddit now
