if you are not signed by an nfl team doesn't that make you a free agent?

I wonder if everyone else in the world is a free agent?

Doesn't that make you a free agent too?

And yes I am really high right now so that is why this question is being asked. *hits blunt

Yes, technically everyone over the age of 18 is an NFL free agent.

It doesn't mean some random schmuck will ever get signed by an NFL team, but it is possible to show up and try out for a team and get signed even with no prior experience.

It doesn't mean it will ever happen, but as far as I'm aware there is no rule against it.

  • Yes. The Utah Jazz signed a 5 year old "free agent"

Unless you're a non-roster member of the Philadelphia Blaze.
