Is the Tea Party/Christian Fundmentalism a threat to American democracy?

They are a threat to rationality though, and our great nation's IQ can not take any more of the Tea Party propaganda machine, or the Christian Fundie's declaring war on "evilution", without some dire consequences.

No, our nation was founded by Christian fundamentalists and we were a Christian country until the Democrats because the anti-Christian party. We have more to fear from Muslim fundamentalists like ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, the MoA, and others.

The difference in the TEA party platform is no different than the difference between dems and repubs. Their simply a new idea that fat cat politicos are not ready to listen too, nothing unusual here
