Well, do we really want anyone with close ties to a drug lord holding any political office. Hell no, and McConnell's wife owns the Ping May, where 40 kilos of cocaine was found.

His father-in-law has given McConnell over $90,000 in campaign contributions, and in return the Chao family dynasty was able to conceal its identity, was able to limit it's legal liability through an array of tax shelters and foreign registrations. Apparently this has been going on for a very long time. The only reason they got caught is due to a crackdown on drug trafficking.

Kentucky has one of the worse drug problems, and lack of jobs, which only means that McConnell is a massive failure as a leader.

As if there weren't already enough red flags waving to warn people not to vote for Mitch (again), this one sails in from out of the blue. How poetic. I just hope enough people get to see just what's going on in time so they don't vote for him.

40 KILOS OF COCAINE FOUND ON FATHER IN LAWS SHIP

Foremost Group is the source of most of Senator McConnell’s fortune through gifts and inheritance from his in-laws. It is a shadowy corporation, utilizing a complex scheme of shell companies to skip out on millions in taxes annually.

They fly their ships under the flag of Liberia, a west African nation known for its lax labor protections, allowing Foremost the opportunity to exploit its ships’ workforce with little fear of recrimination. However, this status as an employer-friendly anti-labor nation also allowed western African nations, such as Liberia, to become one of the epicenters for drug smuggling through legitimate channels. By working to extract every red cent of profit at the cost of the laborers who make their fortunes possible, Foremost may have sewn the seeds of its own downfall.
