Subaru gears lag when changing from P to D?

Check your fluid. Make sure the car is warmed up. Make sure it is on a level spot. Shift your transmission through the gears a couple of times then put it in Neutral. Pull your transmission dipstick. Wipe it off. Replace it, then pull it and read it.

Fluid level is fine, at 150ks but my friend did try racing it while using triptronic a lot and wasnt the smoothest change
