Will a 500 wt Psu work withh a Gtx 680 ?

    That card requires *at least* a 550W psu. Some overclocked versions will require a psu with a higher wattage. You'll want to check the manufacturers website to see the minimum wattage that they recommend. A 650W psu would be a better choice...it'll allow headroom (psu operating at less than 80%) for future upgrades, add-ons, etc.
