haven't the foggiest. I don't know what idiots ever took the man seriously again, after the Whole Tawana Brawley SHAM .
How did the man ever regain one OUNCE of credibility after that?
He was also involved in a racist incident where a Jewish store owner was attacked and killed.
The man is a disgrace.

He IS relevant because he has a big effect on society.
Is the effect good or bad? Is he honest or dishonest? These are questions relevant to Al Sharpton.

He is only relevant to those wishing to perpetuate the race blame game. And as we see with the Mayor of New York there are plenty of them out there. He makes a good living out of being an anti white black activist. He even has his own TV show although the audience it caters to must be mentally challenged. It is in his interest to keep banging the racist White drum. What else does the odious man have to offer? And the gullible lap it up.
Source(s): Obama is often in his company which shows all to clearly, once again, the poor judgement of the American president. Obama surrounds himself with anti white racists. Holder being a prime example. - 6 years ago

Because blacks love playing the race card and being the victim. Therefore, he's able to find steady work.

His very raison d'etre is to keep banging on about racial abuse, discrimination and victimisation - for which he and his ilk will ALWAYS find some example/EXCUSE to whine, complain and blame to an all too-willing
audience prepared to believe his hypocritical rantings.

Cause, and effect, he doesn't 'instigate', he responds to it. And he's relevant because you can't see the difference.
