Are there any "templates" or sites that you can buy that would offer the functionality of what Craigslist offers?
In other words, you could post photos, search the database, send "emails" that don't reveal your real email? I don't have the appropriate programming knowledge to build such a website.

First off, templates aren't the sites themselves, they offer no real substance only style. A website with just a template is what you call all style no substance; the outline or design of the website. 2nd there is software which isn't exactly targeted at craigslist, but could easily be modified to handle such a project if you had the time to look into it.
