Do you enjoy being a parent?
I am trying to have a baby right now. I have always wanted to be a mom. I fully understand that it's going to be exhausting and soul-sucking and difficult. But I don't want to miss out on this life experience and I just get so giddy at the thought of holding my own baby one day!!!
The thing that freaks me out is there are soooo many articles online from moms who say they truly hate being a mom and wish they had never had their kids, even if they love them dearly. This makes me so sad and also makes me wonder if i am delusional in thinking I want motherhood! Honest answers please! If you could do it again and NOT have your kids, would you?

Both of my children were surprises. Am I sad that I missed out on having a social life at the age of 18? Yes. Am I sad that I can't come and go as I please without taking my children or making arrangements with childcare? Yes. Do I regret having my children? Absolutely not. I can't imagine my life without these little monkeys. They have brought more happiness to my life than sadness. Every day is something new. A new phrase. A new facial expression. Every day. Kids are amazing. I won't deny I prefer the ages of 0-1 lol.. but that's because they don't talk back or make messes yet. After that, good luck! They will keep you on your toes!

I enjoy my job. I enjoy my friends. I enjoy my house. I enjoy my training and my races. "Enjoy" honestly isn't even remotely enough to explain how I feel about being a mom and a wife. It is everything to me. I could lose my job. I could lose my house. I could lose the use of my legs and never compete again. And truly, although I would miss them, I could lose friends. But losing my kids? World-ending.

If I relived my life and I did not have my kids I would have no purpose in my life. They're my reason for living. I love my kids more than anything, they're 12 and 13 and though raising them through 'teenagehood' is tough, it's also rewarding you could say .. and they're my babies.

Being a mother is the hardest job I have ever had, but without question also the most rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy it and wouldn't change it for the world.

I always wanted kids and I definitely don't regret it. I have 2 sets of twins (talking about life sucking) but really can't imagine my life any other way

I could never not want my children. At times I get mad it is true, but at the same time, the joy they have brought me and the love makes my life worth living.
