Atheists: What do you think of this guy that says he has been to 100 exorcisms?
"In assisting priests in nearly 100 exorcisms, Adam Blai has become a true believer in good and evil, God and the devil.
“If you’ve seen the things in the Gospels played out in front of you, it ceases to become faith. It’s knowledge,” says Blai.
When he comes face to face with evil , Blai says he knows it.
“Their heart is so black and lacking of any hesitation or compassion that you know they would tear you apart and be smiling the entire time,” he says. “There’s a sense of evil with a demon that is so far beyond any human I’ve ever met it’s impossible to convey it to you in words.”

For once I agree with Fireball (never thought I'd say that, honestly). He's either a fool or a crook that takes advantage of gullible fools.
Were any of those 100 exorcisms performed in the presence of medical personnel, so they could verify the "possessed" person's condition? I guess not.
P.S. You KNOW that even the vast majority of religious people agree that "demonic possession" is just mental illness, right? TREATABLE mental illnesses. Why do you think the number of possessions dropped to 0 since the 19th century? Because we started to understand and properly treat what was actually happening to those people.

The fact that someone believes demonic forces are at work does not make it real... it is more likely that he's just very susceptible to the power of suggestion.
A telling factor is for all his 'knowledge', he still cannot produce any evidence that anything supernatural is going on.
If you believe this guy, then why don't you believe Pagans who claim to have spiritual visions of their Goddess, or Hindus who experience faith healing and such? Do you see the contradiction in your own thinking there?

Atheists: What do you think of this guy that says he has been to 100 exorcisms?
- SO? He has "seen" something, he has "proven" nothing.
Adam Blai has become a true believer in good and evil, God and the devil.
- Yes, he "believes" that which has no proof.

I think that article is over a year old - and it hasn't gotten any better with age.
This guy and/or the people he is in contact with either have vivid imaginations and/or mental problems.
I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to call him a liar either.

I think he's part of a group that believes in demons and playacts their beliefs on a regular basis.
I've seen some of those groups. Everyone knows their lines and knows how to behave, and they follow the script faithfully so they can hold on to their beliefs.

Atheists think the spaghetti monster is real. There's no reasoning with them.

I'm right with Fireball on this one.

I saw "The Exorcist" 100 times, does that count?
