Interpret this . . . what do you think the subject is trying to convey? What are thought on this photograph?

Not every photo tells a story, as much as you'd like it to. A photo of an emotionless guy with some snow in the background doesn't say anything interesting at all. It also doesn't help that one can barely see his face due to the appallingly low contrast and lack of fill light. It might work as part of a set, but on its own it's pretty poor.
