I'm looking for a cold potato salad that I had in a German Restaurant some years ago.?

It had finely sliced potatos and was seasoned with a vinegar and mayonaise dressing instead of the traditional bacon-onion-vinegar dressing of German potato salads. It was one of three little salads served on a single plate and the flavors were wonderful. Can't find it anywhere! Help!

    You're probably thinking of Amish potato salad. It has vinegar, mayonnaise, eggs and mustard. Sometimes people put celery or celery seeds into it too. Amish people are of German descent.
