If Jesus wasn't killed by the Romans, would he have theoretically live forever?

Update:

Maybe because he's the perfect human being, and if he did naturally die, wouldn't come back from the dead at an old age?

Update 2:

Some of you guys are confusing me :(, Jesus had no paternal father, he had to be different from us in a "physical" way anyhow?. And if God planned his only son to be sacrificed, doesn't that kinda mean that God must have planned some sort of system where sin and evil was such a problem to even have to sacrifice his son?????? Halp plz

He wasn't going to stay on earth forever. The Father's plan for Him was to take the sins of the world on Him and have Him die and rise from the dead. This was all 'preplanned' before Jesus was born to Mary.

    1. Jesus lives forever. 2. Jesus was not killed by the Romans. 3. Jesus was murdered by the religion represented by Pharisees and the priests of the temple of Jerusalem. 3. Jesus is living forever, not just theoretically, but actually.

Everyone is reincarnated an infinite amount of times in a cycling, eternal universe, the big bounce theory. The idea of a single universe is a Christian idea, and bias in science. It was first published by a Catholic priest, to an audience of "scientists" who believed in the absolute literal truth of Genesis!

To make a beginning, you have to break multiple laws, make up ridiculous theories, and invent an all powerful creator.

Everything that can possibly happen does happen, and has already, an infinite amount of times, due to the law of gravity, the law of causality, and the first law of thermodynamics, energy cannot be created or destroyed, it only changes form.

This law limits all forms of propulsion, while the gravity of all the energy in the universe, (which includes dark energy), has no limits, just gets gradually weaker, so over eternity, or a very long time, probably a trillion years, the propulsive force of dark energy, which is just really small particles of energy bouncing around causing outward pressure, will be replaced by the force of gravity completely, and it doesn't really matter how far or fast the universe has expanded at that point, or how weak gravity is, it would still be the only force left, and so must eventually collapse as black hole clusters, with all the energy in the universe in orbit around them, which smash together at tremendous speed, causing the largest possible explosion/expansion each time. (The second law of thermodynamics is reset at each big bang to the start).

The nature of eternity means I have existed as myself an infinite amount of times, doing everything that can possibly be done by me, and I will continue to do everything that I could ever possibly do, an infinite amount of times, forever.

The really interesting question is, is individuality just an illusion? Are we all just energy, in different forms? If we are all just one thing, energy, then we would be reincarnated as every possible creature that can exist in an eternal universe, forever.

Wasn't the point of the resurrection story that he did get to live forever, minus three days?

Interesting question. According to tradition, Mary never died because she was sinless. She was assumed into heaven when her earthly journey was complete.

Since death only entered the world because of sin, the original plan for humans did not include death. But, we know that they hadn't yet entered heaven. My guess would be that they, too, would be assumed into heaven when their earthly task was complete.

As for Christ, again, my guess is that He would have come for a time and then ascended back to heaven (which He did after the Resurrection)

Jesus is no different from a human other than living a Christ-like life while most people have lost their way. He still would have naturally died but He will always be alive for as long as there is life. He understood that Christ cannot be dead because He is only life Eternal. Although many bodies die and decay, Christ, which is our Life, will always continue on from generation to generation.

His life was pre-ordained, predestined, foretold in prophecy. He came to serve mankind and fulfilled over 300 prophecies in His lifetime. All human beings aee appointed once to die". 1 time, thats it. Jesus had to physical die, shed innocent blood to win earth and the Church (Body of believers). He did that! Been there done that. Now there is no death for Jesus or Church. Jesus said there "would be,one generation that does not experience death at all."? Raptured?? No death but eternity.

It was written long before He was crucified friend, satan's plots to stop Gods Plan of Salvation to save "us" through many attempts I might add, came to pass...so it is futile and moot to even ponder IMHO...
