To Choose an answer to your questions as Best Answer, You have to wait 1 hour from asking for Award Best Answer to show up under the answers.

If using Mobile use the link for desktop mode.

You click Award Best Answer under the one you want as Best Answer, rate that answer with 1 to 5 stars indicating how helpful it was and Submit.

You can leave a comment under that answer or any others before or after you submit for the best one.

You will get 3 of the 5 points from Asking returned and Best Answer gets 10 points and one more point for any thumbs up it has, only to a total of 50.

If you're asking how it's done: You just go to the page after a certain amount of time and choose the answer you like best.

If you're asking, how do people make the decision of which answers to give Best Answer to,this is how I do it:

If I have enough good choices to pick from(and by that I mean non-trolls), I first look to see who seemed to have read the full description/understood what I was asking, and then who gave the most thought-out and informative (not necessarily character-count longest) response, even if I don't necessarily agree with them (I sometimes ask questions that have opinion rather than fact-based answers.)

Once your question has been posted for at least 1 hour and has at least one answer, click on 'Award Best Answer' button next to your chosen answer.
