I want to send a friend request to someone. But the add friend button is not available. I even have 49 mutual friends. What do I do now?

You cant add them if the Add as a Friend Button is not there if the Message button is there you can try Sending them a Message and ask them to Add you
If you Previously Added them the Reason why the Add as a Friend Button is not showing is Because it got Denied and that person marked it as Spam or that they dont know you This prevents you from being able to send another Friend Request

According to me, there are two reasons behind this firstly that person has too many friends now he cannot make the new friend while the second one is that he make his account private.so, you have one choice message him.

they have it set up where they can't receive friend requests from people they don't want them from. If you want to friend them you have to ask them to friend you.
