Why does God not strike down atheists?

Because he doesn't get butthurt when someone says they don't believe in him or when someone says "I'm gay"

Because Jehovah takes delight, not in the death of someone wicked. But He delights when a wicked person turns around (Ezekiel 33:11). Also, please read 2 Peter 3:9. Would you not prefer God to be happy?

He didn't but he killed them in the flood in Louisiana. Remember? He caused the flood and killed at least thousands of bad people.

God will not stop evil until the end of time, if He did, then He would have destroyed you and me.

Free will of humans, and plenty of mercy toward humans.

He gives us free will. You can do it your way or His way. But His messages give endless encouragement to do it His way. All we do causes us pain that multiplies as we continue despite warning signs. I am convinced all who make a career out of being expert atheists do so while ignoring many signs that what they do is no ok.

He allows even those blatantly against Him time to reconsider. If and when they decide to turn from their way, He accepts them wholeheartedly. They often become teachers, having experience and understanding of unbelief.

God also asks that we be His hands and feet. If more believers were demonstrating and teaching the message, people would see His truth more and wouldn't fall for the half truths tempting people away from Him. Losing so many national leaders who had deep respect for God and the Bible has hit us hard. Fifty years ago, things were way different, and Biblical integrity was virtually a requirement. It was the standard of truth and integrity as it should be.

God is good at not doing things like we may want to. But God does tell us not to do harm, not to seek revenge, but to do His work, and pray about everything. God demonstrates by doing things slowly, subtly, through love and patience and the work of His people. He generally allows pain in the lives of the faithless to reconsider and start seeking God wholeheartedly. They open the eyes of their heart. God woos us with His creation, His promises and wisdom, His people, His blessing, and His general awesomeness. But if we don't respond to these things, He will increasingly allow us to get stung and burned. We realize we need someone like Him.

Atheists are God's children. They just don't realize it yet. They are defenseless against our prayers. May they find and experience all a seasoned believer has. Nothing will be finer than to worship God with them for eternity.

One would think that all God had to do to prove his existence who be to make every atheist on the planet go *poof*.

One would assume that if he were there, hr would know exactly who they are,
