So I keep finding white ermine moths but I'm in Texas.. are they supposed to be here, or are they invasive?

I would think they are widespread in north America, possibly pandemic and found globally.

What would make a species invasive is competing with natural fauna or changing that natural fauna.

They are native to Europe and introduced to other continents.

I had them years back in California, and seen them here in Idaho, so they are here.
