Fly free over ther Rainbow Bridge lil one! I'm very sorry for her's and yours loss. It's ALWAYS hard to lose a loved one. About a month ago I lost my baby. Joe a handi~ABLED Lilac Crowned Amazon parrot. Not knowing your daughters age or if this is her first pet to pass it's a hard one as to how to answer. No matter what, tell the truth.ie, old age, sick, it was time etc.. Then depending on her maturity level show her and bury under some existing or have her pick new flowers. Good luck! (I hope this helps.)

That's a shame - just tell her outright that it's died and she can learn about death, it's good to teach them that things come to end and that they have to appreciate the life that they have and make sure pets are cared for and happy and have an enjoyable life.
