Well, Capricorn is full of rules, while Aquarius is aloof and unpredictable, so it doesn't sound like

    a fun transition.

It would basically be about a fall from spirituality to physicality. That's much like the transition from the Gemini Age to Taurus Age, about 6000 years ago. The symbolic story of Adam and Eve illustrating that.

There may be a lot of ascensions happening, as symbolically illustrated in Greek Mythology with Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) eating his children. It can also be a long transition, and eventually as symbolically illustrated in Greek Mythology with Cronus castrating Uranus (ruler of Aquarius). So, can mean a prophet being slain again.

Like everything in astrology, there is no agreed date for when the Age of Aquarius starts. Some say we're in it now, others not for centuries. Hopefully humans will abandon superstition and magic. It's the scientific age and science works.

There will be 2 genders again (instead of 12538 as today anybody can identify as anything) and traditional gender roles will return. Also technology won't be as important as it is today.

Signs of the Zodiac have nothing to do with our lives.
