Do cons find it disrespectful toward the US to want to see it improved?

Some love trying to dehumanize people as thugs who hate the US for kneeling during the anthem. People kneeling for it are peacefully protesting for racial equality within the justice system (black people receive longer sentences for the same offenses, black people are more likely to be arrested for the same reasons, black people are more often charged with felony for the same offenses, black people are more likely to be shot by police when cooperating).

And don't even hit me with that crap about it being on "work time". Roger Goodell already stated that he supports players' rights to protest the anthem.

It is protesting Trump's support for police violence, not disrespecting the flag.

You have no idea what conservatism is do you. No, conservatives also like seeing the country improved. We just want to hold onto the traditional virtues and values our forefathers had. A lot of blood was shed for our flag and the nation we live in and the freedoms we have, including the right to express our views. But HOW we express our views is just as important as having the freedom to do so. The anthem is showing respect and pride that you enjoy living in this nation and having the freedom you have.. Not honoring it expresses ungratefulness and disrespect and is an abuse of the freedom given to you. And many conservatives consider that Un-American rather than Pro-American because of this.

You say it's a form of protest. That's a really dumb form of protest that does not help your cause, which don't get me wrong, is a strong cause. I don't fully agree with it myself as I don't see the inequality in the system like you do, but I agree that you have a good cause. But point beside, not standing during the anthem may get people to notice you, but not in the way you want to receive it. You'll only be met with angry people who won't care what your cause is because they're only upset that you did not show respect for your country. A better form of protest would be to honor the anthem while do something to show support for the cause at the same time; like holding a sign or wearing a certain outfit in good taste, so that people will see your cause as being a cause to improve the country you love, rather than not loving the country at all. You might still love your country, but patriots won't see that.

The only reason I get upset when I see sportsmen do it on live TV is that the individuals who do it reflect their actions on the team and make the team look bad. That's just disrespectful to the team and their opinion, because you don't see entire teams sitting down. You see most of them standing up.

Political opinions and religious expressions are not allowed on most jobs. Why does the NFL players think they should be allowed to do it, if they really want equality?

    No.

I find it disrespectful to directly insult people by disrespecting the symbol of my country.

Conservatives also want to see the country improved; we disagree with the small-minded tactic of politicizing everything.

We also probably vastly disagree with what the problems and solutions are. But "liberals", leftists and progtards see no hypocrisy on their part to use lies, smears and violence to silence us.

They're supposed to be Conservative meaning they want less goverment but they would cry if they didn't have someone shooting all their neighbors on our tax dime. Conservative means you worship the government and Statism.

Good intentions don't excuse despicable acts. Whatever they wanted to protest, they muddled the issue and disgraced themselves by desecrating the national anthem and showing their disdain for what it represents, the sacrifice of our forefathers, the freedoms we enjoy, and the country itself. You want to protest something? Do it the right way.

Disrespect to those who fought and died for you will get you nowhere.

I find it weird how they have to kneel. Don't they do enough kneeling with all their boyfriends in the locker room?
