Rhogam can cause Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease?

I'm freaking out I started doing my research I had with all three of my children now that I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my 4th I want to do some research on this, and don't call me a liar it says right here ----->http://www.rhogam.com/faq/ . has anyone rejected this shot and baby still fine?

    No, Rhogam doesn't cause Creutzfeldt-Jakob. There is a theoretical risk of any product made of human blood to carry pathogens like viruses or prions like Creutzfeldt-Jakob, but there is nothing about Rhogam that causes this disease unless the blood it was made of actually was contaminated with this pathogen.

    Would you refuse a blood transfusion that can save your life? If so, it would be irrational to refuse this shot that can save your unborn child's life. It's the exact same minute risk.

    Having said that, the Rhogam shot works by preventing you from producing antibodies against Rh+ blood while giving birth. That means this baby is protected by the shots you got last pregnancies, and the shot you'll get this pregnancy is meant to protect the next baby you conceive, not this one.
