What is the point of the thumbs down? People have a right to their opinions.?

There are a lot of things that don't have a point of being there, but they're THERE.

I would like the TU and TD option to be removed.

The point is to troll not to give a honest opinion.

Just the same as other people have the right to disagree with them.

And others have a right to disagree.

It's almost the same as voicing an opinion in public. Some might like it, some might attack it. It really depends on how you deal with the results and come to the conclusion if your opinion is mainstream or different.
