Technically, no. Once the food touches the ground it is infected by millions of bacteria (as i was told by my geeky friends at my grammar school). But I've licked the floor before and have generally bad hygiene and I'm not dead yet so go ahead.

well, that was 12 minutes ago, but if you run the food under cold water I think you can go for 20 minutes!
