What tempature do u cook deer meet in the oven?

I know fish is 145

Poultry is 165

Deer is ?

    fish is done when it flakes easily. I have never measured it.

    Deer probably is 165 like poultry and ground meats.

    160 degrees, although venison is best sautéed, not cooked using dry heat.

    Venison, like any other meat, is cooked optimally at different temperatures depending upon the cut of meat being cooked. Use higher temperatures and shorter cooking times for ribs, and lower temperatures for loin roasts. The most important thing to remember, with all meats, is to use a meat thermometer AND a separate oven thermometer so you know that the temp that you are cooking with matches that set with the oven, and the meat thermometer to validate that your meat has reached the correct temperature. One of my favorite recipes is venison stuffed cabbage stewed in a tomato/garlic/basil sauce.

    Treat it like beef.

    There's a ton of recipes online, use google and specifically use the term venison recipe in the search field.
