How is Panna Cotta a true Italian dish?
Or how does the ingredients used in panna cotta make it an Italian dish?
Is the cream used in Panna Cotta only available in panna cotta? Other than that the dish was invented in Italy, what else makes it Italian e.g are the ingredients used, traditional to Italy or something?
I meant "Is the cream used in Panna Cotta only available in Italy?"

It’s less about the ingredients used being considered Italian, but the dish itself being a traditional one, long preferred by Italians as traditional.

Panna cotta was invented in Italy sometime in the first half of the 20th century.
That's what makes Italian.
On a side note Caesar salad is from Mexico.

The ingredients aren't important. Was panna cotta created in Italy? If yes, then it's an Italian dish.
