Why is one side of the nose congested while laying on one side then when turning over that side clears up while the other gets stuffed?

Simply has to do with how the nose rotates which side breathes more to lax the workload essentially. It does this by constricting air flow from one side at a time, when you are on your side you are just manually switching it, if you were sitting up however, the air would switch on a timer as your body will go back and forth to give one side rest and the other side some time to work.
