Am I being petty?

I’m wearing these curly extensions and my friend wants her hair done exactly like mine and I just don’t like that at all I feel like this is my hairstyle and it works for me. Am I being petty

    Sounds like you are leaning towards thinking of it that way. Perhaps you should think of it as flattery instead; obviously your friend thinks your extensions look great on you, and would love to emulate the look. Good friends are hard to find.

    Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It just means that your friend thinks you look really pretty, & wants to look pretty too. Try to look at the positive side of things, it'll make you feel better.

    Pretending some hair style is "yours" despite you borrowing it from someone else and buying it off the shelf is absurd.
