Is Mobil 1 full syn high mileage gm6094m approved or dexos approved? What about Valvoline max life synpower?

Does anyone know why on Mobil 1 full synthetic oil (the regular) it says gm6094m on the back and also dexos approved but it does not say this on the high mileage full synthetic version? Isn't it almost the same exact oil other than the seal conditioners to help with leaks and burning in high mileage engines? I noticed it is the same thing with the valvoline synpower vs the Valvoline synpower max life. That one actually does say dexos but not gm6094m.

Oil is oil within reason. All these designations like GM6094M is to appeal to gullible petrol heads.

Scientists formuate the oil. Marketting men add the XYZ 40873 etc to sell it.

Put the RECOMMENDED oil in your vehicle as stated in the owner's manual. Everything else is a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
